Im sorry to say its dead, and won't be revived to fast, maybe later on when i can code fully myself, but for now simply no intrest in coding for my mod means no progress.

Heck Yeah, if i can even get one coder to slowely work on it i will resume managing it. But there simply are none who want too. I myself am going to start lerning soon (in a month or so but im going overseas soon so properly only startin in 4 or 5 months) and even then im still at school and such, but eventually i plan to do it myself if noone else steps in. Its a long term project though.

Righto, today is a sad day. That is because today i am officially abandoning this mod. If you want to take it over i will be happy to give you all current resources but if no one asks within 2 weeks i will delete / remove this mod from moddb. This comes due to lack of interest, like actuall talent interest. Coders say its too hard and modelers are already busy else where.

Brothersoft.com That is Maya 8.5 PLE, i personally use maya and could help you with it and have a few tutorials.

Softimage.com That is XSI's Mod Tool which is supposed to be good because its what valve used, and valve support importing / exporting from it.

Overall i have no clue which is better but i find maya easier to use for modelling and atm XSI easier for animationg / skinning but im biased so yeah. Choose for your self, but i can't help you much with XSI, but tbh your mostly on your own with maya too.
PS: I have succsesfully (i know i can't spell that :P ) exported a few models from maya into source with texturs, and once back on the shady days with animations :P But me and my friend are a great fan of Noesis Tut's and have bought 2 or 3 of the maya ones and are working on em now, they are quite good, heres a link: Noesisinteractive.com (but thier website is REAL slow :( ) Theres a demo one they supply for free here on moddb under thier group if you search for Noesis.
