It will run with the Mac version too, but you have to move the expansion/ folder *inside* the .app
i.e.
mv Expansion "Dungeons of Dredmor.app/Contents/MacOS"
style. Ah, .app files, bane of my life. -- N. @Gaslamp
This seems to be an issue with the software OpenAL we're using. In that case - yeah, just remove it and let the system use its own OpenAL if it has one.
Linux Audio drivers! Yay! -- N.
We didn't do it, oddly. I'm guessing Desura did, although I don't know why the Linux x64 build broke in the first place. As I said, this is now getting fixed in about the next hour.
I'm sorting this out now. I'm guessing that Desura rolled it back automatically, or something; a lot of strange stuff has been happening with the Linux builds.
1.0.9B is now up, which should fix backwards-compatibility issues with 1.0.8, as well as the recent bout of save corruption. Sorry for the inconvenience.
(1.0.6, though? That's... well, it's worth a shot.)
We didn't send them 1.0.8. Instead, somebody - we don't know if it was the Humble Bundle or Desura - put up the Humble Bundle build.
Suffice it to say, we're annoyed, and will send some e-mails. In the mean time, thanks for putting up with us - now that we've sorted our patching process out a bit, you folks will be getting 1.0.9 on Monday or Tuesday at the same time as the Steam folks.

As soon as the exclusivity period is up, we'll be posting things here.
As noted above, this is specific to the Linux port (and, I think, 64-bit Linux.) We should have something for you shortly.
We had a lot of trouble getting a sufficient pool of Linux beta testers to get more comprehensive coverage through our on-going beta program. Now that we are on Desura, we will probably start pushing beta builds through it as well for the Linux folks. New platforms have always been a bit bumpy for us!
There is a crash that is happening specifically in the Linux version; we will have a hotfix up as soon as we can. I'm guessing Monday, as I'm waiting for instructions from Desura about how their patch process actually works. :)
(FWIW, only 64-bit Linux users seem to be reporting this. Puzzling!)
When you say "won't log in", can you be more specific? Is this Desura blowing up, or us?
