Its Halo, but being on a bigger scale. Playing as regular soldiers plus its going to be more realistic then Halo. The weapons will go at realistic distances and not crappy 5 feet range like Halo does. We are not stealing its simply a fan made game. If you and your buddies dress in candly colored Master Chief suits and play paintball, is that considered steal the idea of Halo? No Its simply being insipred.
Just like with BF2552. Were making a Battlefield game set in the Halo universe. Just like how 2142 is set in the future, its simply the same game though. BF2 and 2142 are very alike and we plan to do the same with Battlefield 2552.
On another note, the same has been done with Star Wars. Its been made on the 2142 engine and it simply puts you in a game of Battlefield set in the Star Wars world. Is that stealing? No, its just simply being inspired, even though the concept sounds much alike SW Battlefront, LucasArts dosent care and they actually think its pretty cool. LucasFilm and LucasArts have even supported the mod since Battlefield 1942 version.
I will never be sued by Bungie or Microsoft. They can't sue us, thats only if we refuse to shut down if they demand us too. Plus I am related to Morgan Hill, the guy that works a Bungie and makes objects and vehicles. Do you think he would support sueing a family member? **** no. If Bungie was to shut me down, I think Morgan would speak to me about it.
Well, sorry for being harsh. But like we get alot of people telling us we are going to get butt raped by Microsoft just for making a Halo mod. Our mod is diffrent from Halo itself but it wont be to a extent that it would interfere with Halo franchise's sales.
