how do i use them

Just one more question... do I need windows to run winrar?

Srry but idk wat custom firmware is. But here's wat is happening. I download file and the options it gives me on the places to download it doesn't show the games folder or ISO as any of them. I tried downloading with Mac osx 10 and there it shows me da file but when I copy file then try to use it, it just says corrupted file. Do I need a windows computer?
