The confusion was because they wanted to offer a cheaper version so that more people could build cool robots without having to pay the full $30 price, but just like a lot of things in life, when someone tries to do something nice, confusion arises.

I know they're actively working on getting things like multiplayer and what not. So it will become a full game eventually. However it is in Alpha funding now so it is Alpha and could definitely use funding as well.

He never bought the game, so you're most probably right .. I think he just wants a free copy.

I actually disagree with you. Games can be in stages, they call this an Alpha, but technically it is a game that is pretty complete for a more technically savvy audience. What you're talking about is a Casual release. Not everyone can match the learning curve of this game, and it will get simpler over time as the technically savvy pave the way for the more casual audience.

It is pronounced "tilde" and it is the '~" key. It is a standard key used for opening consoles in many classic FPS's.

Usually this key is present directly before the '1' key on most keyboards and directly under the 'esc' key.

They never had a kickstarter, but I think they should have one.

This is the Alpha version of the game, I've seen Alpha versions that have been ugly and terrible with many unfinished things. This actually plays and feels really good for being an Alpha. Buying this game entitles you to stable releases till the final release.

It is the weekend, please give the developers a bit of time to handle this for you. It might be possible to do an upgrade for you or at the very least issue you a refund.

You will certainly get your refund, these guys are on a different timezone than you and it is the weekend. About $500k has already been spent on development of personal developer funds (their own money), they wouldn't rip you off for $10 or any amount. That is not what they're about. It is good you mention this confusion because it shows that perhaps the devs need to put the $30 version up here as well.

Uhh, not true. You get updates but of stable builds. I have purchased the $30 version and as far as I know, the next stable release you guys will get is with full multiplayer functionality. I think this should be explained to Desura people here because I personally wanted all updates immediately rather than wait for them, so I bought it for $30.
