Yes, but the problem still occurs: no way to see more than around 20 characters in the "map info" window. Pretty useless.

I don't mind at all. So I put again the .ucs file in the proper locale folder, and here it works, thank you again.

But still there is no way to read the maps info.
I did a lot of browsing in the game folders, but I don't find where the maps files are located, in the purpose to open them with notepad and to read the full text.

How should we use the scripted maps?

I have A LOT of "$XXX[...]XXX No Range" in the game settings and some in the list of maps. Beside that, the "map info" window shows only something like 20 characters and therefore doesn't display the info needed to trigger the script properly.
As example, I launched a map made by Col.Clark, playing as Americans, only to see that I was intended to play as British.

I use the french version of the mod. Should I use the english version?

It totally worked! Now the game launches properly.

As a reminder for someone else who may have the same issue: inside the mod directory, check for your own language file .ucs. An other language file is probably in the wrong place.

I installed v6.1.6 + v6.1.8 + hotfix as recommended, but I can't even launch the game: it crashes at startup.
I tried to delete all files, then to setup v6.1.6 + v6.1.7 + v6.1.8 + hotfix, but it keeps crashing.

I don't know what to do. Any idea?
