To get the negative aspects out of the way first - some dialogue mismatch between what's being spoken and what's in the subtitles, crashes here and there - but these for me are easily overlooked.

I had to re-install Fallout 3 just to play this and part's 1 and 2 again a few months back after watching the playthroughs on YouTube. By far the best mod for the Fallout series, we need AQFH 4 Iron Sky for Fallout 4 to wrap this up.

The narrative, environment, ambient music, visuals, weapons, armor, rewards are all top level.
The story hook alone is enough to make this mod enjoyable.

If any Fallout fan managed to miss out on AQFH, then you seriously need to go through the entirety of the mod. Playing the mod is it's own reward and you won't be disappointed with the outcome nor the gear that you get to keep after it's conclusion. It feel like a legitimate Fallout 3 sequel.
