Good News Everyone! I figured out the problem. I didn't extract the msi and Cabinet, so it didn't install properly. I retried the installation and it works now.

Wait did I need to do something with the cabinet file?

No, there isn't. Is that the source of the problem?

So should I just reinstall?

I use 8.1, and I actually changed the launch path to use Medieval2.exe instead of kingdoms since it didn't exist.

It doesn't leave a log. It just loads for a couple seconds, then says Sorry bud or some crap like that, then it just crashes entirely.

Steam and I looked at the guide on getting mods to run on steam. I'm using the dlc version on steam.It shows the first loading screen and then Immediately crashes.
