Alright, a dozen players, at least half of them land nations. I might work on something fast during the holidays, no promises though, might be a long term project. Already got several map projects on my plate.
Don't feel sorry to make a respectful request man, nothing wrong with that.
I sadly don't know any hidden gems. Might make a more island based map, what size are you thinking off?
It was specifically designed for a all UW nations game, most islands are connected on the large map by a cave network. Works with amphibian nations decently well. Still you run into the water/land province ratio.
However I could make a more island based map with a port system.
