No, this is the standalone version which already includes the patch. The patch is there for people who have downloaded the previous version (2.5) and want to upgrade to this one.

When you tell what kind of crashes they are, when they occur, what version you use, and what your RGL-log is (found in your main Warband folder), we can help you best.

It takes a while for the installer to start up, because it's so big: so at first it looks like nothing happens, and after a minute (on my machine) the installer pops up.

Weird stutters in the video are there because of a few reasons:
* My five your old computer isn't the fastest machine around anymore, and the Expanded mod (which I used to record the video) is very demanding, even tough we optimalized it as much as we could.
* To be honest I should really reinstall Windows again... it's been too long since I did that, and it's actually slowing my machine down. I'm not looking forward to installing everything again.
* I'm not the best video editor around. Even tough I did my best, there could still be some faults because of inexperience.

Stutters ingame can be caused by various reasons, but they all boil down to the mod being heavy. Some tips to improve performance:
- Use smaller battle sizes.
- Try turning off dynamic lightning and particle systems, and reduced the number of corpses/ragdolls.
- You can also try the Gameplay version, which is less demanding.
And of course the dust clouds thrown up by the horses can cause stutters. A member of the TaleWorlds forum had actually written a small program to reduce this dust clouds, but unfortunately it was uploaded to MegaUpload, which has been down since last week. I hope to get hold of that program, for it helps all large mods (not only this one, but also for example Prophesy of Pendor).

This installer contains everything.

I indeed had a separate music download available on the Repository for earlier versions, but that was packed only 388 MB, while this installer is 1.16 GB.

The Expanded troop tree is a complicated and wide set troop trees: there's a lot of room for specialization. It has approximately 25 different troops per tree, and the highest tier troops are of tier 7.

The Reworked troop tree is a less complicated tree, but still offers more possibilities than the Native tree. There are approximately 15 troops per tree, and the highest tier troops are of tier 6.

The Native tree is the normal native tree: there are approximately 9 troops per tree, and the highest tier troops are of tier 5.
