Mirror Sword is an upcoming indie game inspired by great games such as Legend of Zelda, Secret of Mana, and Dark Souls. The combat system is based on Historical European Martial Arts. This means that many of the fight moves in Mirror Sword are based off of real sword fighting techniques.

I am happy to announce that I am working on a HEMA Longsword Tournament Game! This will be a demo featuring Mirror Sword's combat system. HEMA stands for Historical European Martial Arts. HEMA is the reconstruction of Medieval and Renaissance period martial arts using historical fight books which have been preserved in Museums and private collections. This demo will have the aesthetics of a HEMA Longsword tournament. One of the goals of Mirror Sword is to spread awareness of HEMA to the retro game community.
The HEMA Longsword Tournament Game will be available in a matter of months, where Mirror Sword will take about a year or so to complete.
