Not really. Rust is just the surface of the metel oxidising. (Reacting with oxygen in the air to make a compound.)

I'm sure I mentioned that I'm a science nut...
Well, this is a good weapon because if you stab someone and he/she survives he/she'll die of infection because of the rust and dirt on the spoon.
