Shade was originally the leader of a large empire from the D-Sect of the Allies, he was thrown out once when his top Lieutenant defected to a Allied backed rebel force that overthrew his regime. He changed his name to distance himself from his Prime version.

Once a feared and brutal leader, he is now nothing more than a galactic terrorist, his day in the spotlight came in 2843 when he singlehandedly raided the Allied capitol world, killing many Recon Peacekeepers and managed to hold the Prime Allied president hostage for 12 hours before disappearing into the redments of the galaxy's criminal underground
