Lost Alpha is the best thing to have happened to STALKER - SHoC since the release of the original game. This will bring new life in this old game and allow modders to make it even better.
Right now (patch 1.3003) the game is stable enough to finish the main story and most side quests. It's SHoC 2.0, better in almost every form. Most problems with it are because it's unfinished: static A-Life, maps are large (good) but empty (bad, also related to A-Life being static), cutscenes and voice acting need more work (but are better than many _commercial_ games, keep that in mind when you are making your review, you haven't paid a dime to get this game).
Something like Oblivion Lost mod for this game would be fantastic!
