I did it! Decided to come back to this game and somehow I did find how to do what I intended!

All I did was delete from "printf("it's HIP's the player or a companion")" to "else" as if it were never there and now NPCs DO fall down when I shoot at them.

Hope this finally helps you, fellow stalkers.

Nevermind, sure by deleting that now I can make them fall down without killing them but now enemies can kill them. Either way, it's progress I guess.

Does this mod makes them outright invulnerable? I emptied a mag on Hip and she wouldn't bat an eye, I want them to just fall wounded and recovering after I'm long away from there.

Update: Tried to add Lukash and failed resoundingly. I have the script written this way, don't know what's wrong.

local importantNPCs = {
"Hip"
--"Hip",
--"Dima Hangman",
--"Wolf",
--"Fanatic",
--"Lukash"
}

I'll try again removing the "--" at the beginning, since they came by default in the script yet they don't appear in the mod description.

Finally tried it again just to find out only works for companions who crouch when they get wounded while the other NPCs just become immortal no matter how much I shoot at them. tried with Reefer, the bandit in Agroprom Underground and he wouldn't go down after 20 buckshots. I just want them to fall wounded without killing them but I don't know what do I have to write or remove.

Intentaré animarme yo, soy bueno escribiendo. Pero si lo dejo a medias me gustaría saber de un sitio para dejárselo a otro.

Edit: "Death of a man is tragedy" was said by Joseph Stalin, not Erich Maria Remarque, I'll fix it.

2º Edit: "Recht oder unrecht - mein Vaterland (=Right or wrong, this is my Motherland)" not by Aldous Huxley, but found two possible authors: writer and philosopher G. K. Chesterton and an US officer, Stephen Decatur junior. The officer's original quote was somewhat different, so I'll pick Chesterton as he was the one who wrote the quote from the files on a book of his.

3º Edit: Couldn't find "War is like love [...]" author, only a guy named H. L. Mencken who said "Love is like war: easy to begin but very hard to stop."

Parece que el traductor del mod no hizo bien el trabajo. Según la explicación del autor, se deduce que es "Guardado en fogata/hoguera", así que habrá que dar con quien hizo la traducción para que la suba corregida.

Looks like the mod's translator didn't do his job right. According to author's explanation, it's deduced that it's "Save on firepit/campfire [in Spanish]", so whoever made the translation shall be found so he uploads it corrected.

hahe translating literally funny

Mavrogatos - - 7 comments @ Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands - Skin Mod

Discovered this fourth game barely some days ago, I really cringed upon playing a Norman Reedus of Persia and the horrible story. Uninstalled it as soon as I fought the first sand monsters as they removed all the beheadings and the gore that characterized the game, turning it into a game for kids, and let's not talk about Prince's apathy upon seeing these monsters that caused a literal nightmare to him in the first game, since the sands turned his father and all beloved ones in monsters, anyone would be traumatized from that; he was like "Oh, this nightmare again c:". The game story still sucks, but oh my god, this mod to put him his actual face is gold. I know there's another mod with improvements and such, but I'm giving this one a 10/10 for being the first one.

Mavrogatos - - 7 comments @ Praetorians Mods Complex

I know this game since I was a kid and it was already fantastic, but just discovering this mod really enhanced it as I never expected to see, this work is just magnificent. I'm solely concerned by a minor thing: In the spanish version, the names of some units don't show properly or still in english. For example, in the Carthaginians, instead of "Cántabros" (Cantabrians in Spanish) as it should be, appears LTEXT_UNIDAD_CA_ILIGERA instead. I downloaded Pak Explorer to see if I could edit and fix it somehow but it says that the files can not be opened.

Besides, I genuinely loved the detail of calling chiefs their equivalent like the satraps, sparapets and else; and because of this I thought it would be nice to call Greek chief "Strategos" and perhaps "Alqayid" (commander) to the Rashidun's and despite the lack of carthaginians records, I've just found the name of Hasdrubal the Boetharch, this "Boetharch" meaning apparently general or commander among Carthaginians.

Really great job and salutations from Spain.

Thousand thanks for the work on Praetorians. I had a little issue with an error windows with no information, but I'll elaborate in your inbox.
