Whoa, double post!

So is this a direct relation to StarGate or not? I've only saw a few episodes of Stargate on the SciFi channel and automatically after seeing the portal, I thought the mod was somehow related to the show/movie.

However, after reveiwing the comments, it seems as if the mod is NOT related to Stargate.

I would change the stargate around because it closely resembles the one from the hollywood version and I'm hardly a watcher of the show and I can make the relation.

Just a suggestion, I hate when mods get the all mighty C&D.

I emailed you all a little back telling you how much I enjoyed the series. You guys have created, no doubt, in my mind, the best single player experience for the original Half-Life.

I'm anticipating 'Lost Souls'. I would of been watching sooner if I knew this was here.

From the ones I've played, for Half-Life 2, Eclipse is deffinately an interesting game. I had fun with it but haven't installed it back on since I had to reformat. Eclipse is deffinately a very original idea.

I haven't played Dystopia yet, but from the screens and what not, there is deffinately a lot there. I'll have to install it as it seems very interesting.

Looks good from the pictures. And with these people saying it's great, I'm deffinately gonna give it a try. I don't know why, but I've been craving some good SP additions.

I would like to see a plugin for the mod that allows servers to let players choose classes.

I don't know, I love HL2CTF but it feels more like a deathmatch than actual CTF.

Nigther, what was meant is that Steam is meant for games published on the Source engine (also the aging HL1 engine). Vapour is working on covering a broad range of games along with maps. We just don't cover Valve related content, but games from other developers along with mods and maps for those games. Hope this clears up the confusion!

For users that utilize Vapour, it's available there too.

Val and I developed a plugin (users can now develope plugins to support games) that supports Battlefield 2. Hopefully after making sure everything works right, it will be automatically patched in with the next update of Vapour.

I might install a crap load of games so I can hopefully code in some more plugis for Vapour to support more games (Black Hawk Down, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Vietnam, ect.) Just recommend games to support on the forums or email me at jamesevanhenrygmail.com or contact me over AIM at p0371cju571ce and tell me games you would like to see supported. I'll make sure to try my best to see that they get supported if there is a large enough demand.

Felt like I was playing a cheap HL1 modifcation.

However, with some work that aren't directed towards the engine itself (animaton, sounds, level design, ect.) the game could show it's potential.

Is this going to be anything like that one TFC map (Push I think it was called).

God that map was awesome, it was 24-7 in your face action and hopefully this mod can carry over the same gameplay (only enhanced ofcourse!) and fun level to the source engine.

I remember playing the original Firearms... and although I wasn't a regular playing it, it was extremely fun.

Can't wait to see it on Source.

Well, I wasn't planning on getting Xbox 360 right away, but regardless, I'm gonna have to wait til Feb 2005 because there aren't enough of 'em.

Yeah, I'm a graphic artist there. I hope to be a bit more one day, but since school is keeping my busy, I only do it on my free time.

The map looks great, keep up the work!

On a more important note, I give one huge hooah for Allen Espiritu.

Although I didn't enjoy this mod as much as others I have played; the graphics were amazing, the gameplay was great and overall, I was shocked to see this mod was made on the source engine.

I will, midterms are tomorrow and I'm almost done with my XML final (weee!) not to mention I have to write a functional specification on a website that another student must make that is due tomorrow (on page 7 of atleast 15 pages) so I have been buisy.

Got a ball and chain now too, aka a girlfriend so she keeps me buisy ;). I plan on coming back to TeamXbox soon, not to mention Wuggawoo will forever own my heart :P

You still playing Half-Life 2 I presume? We should make some n00b maps again and play them for a while. That was a total blast :D
