I had a quite interesting period while being part of team creating Deathball mod. It taught me a lot about creating intelligence for non-player characters. Now I have taken all the knowledge I learn from developing artificial intelligence for Deathball, and put it into a new game called Paintball Manager. Creating AI for Paintball players required quite complex code. In addition there were strict requirements for use of CPU. While looking at the game it may look like simple thing to code, but for example, making players to realistically look at correct places instead of staring at walls, is quite difficult, because you have to predict where opponent pops out next.
