How much storage in total is required to download this? It keeps downloading with the .bat file OR the 4gb patcb

Hello, Im doing a north american campgain and the game keeps crashing after turn 10 saying, "Hello person who messed with the game files, you shouldnt have done that!" All I did was install the mod and move it into the mod folder, can I get some help?

The mod folder doesn't come with the 4gb patch or launcher, any help?

Sooo I downloaded the mod and extracted it into the mods folder, I booted it up and it didn't work, any help? I watched a vid on the install process and it seemed to download with a torrent file for them but mine didn't.
