yes it appears that some people tend to compare us to startrek online, thoo when we started this out we didnt even know STO existed.

its a bit different thoo, we are giving you the ability to chose race and division but from there on its more like the series (youre on a starship, starfleet command tells you to get there and there, your captain gives the commands, youre the away team...you know the drill.) rather than the games, you get little adventures with side missions and a main mission where you can do everything you want, and then you get another episode later, its a bit like its done with half-life² and its episodes, but in a rpg.
the main idea was to let the comunity decide how the next episode should run and what should happen but we are not sure if this issnt "too big" for us.

we recently got our hands on a _real_ unused TNG script we might consider using as source for the main storyline, because we had alot of problems getting a good writer so far :(
