If you take into consideration the age of the game, it feels like a mix between DarkSouls and The Elder Scrolls. That preety much is the best picture you get... you will die as much and lose plenty upon death and the gameplay and skill variety resembles much to that of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. Yeah, Prepare to Die Edition no "i died and lost 5% of gold and exp" kind of deal. It is a hardcore game.
