*phew* It's been forever since I've last logged in. While my inbox is full of updates, I assure you all that the new version of The Fortress will be up within the month ;)

Ok... so i looked at this texture pack and thought "wtf??? What the h*ll is a fez, anyways?".... And the picture doesn't exactly help, either. Perhaps a little more than just a chest and a few blocks would be nice. Oh well, I've never heard of the game so i can't really say anything about the pack. Does ANYBODY know what this game is?

Acke, please just tell us if the map is worth downloading. Maybe say what makes it a town and not just two houses that MCedit can make tenfold of in about a minute. From the fountain/plaza thing look, you at least put in some creativity, but please get a better picture and then perhaps people will think twice about ranting on your town ;)

Hmmmms... not sure what this map has that would be worth using ALL that energy to click that download button ;)

As anyone who has checked my blog would guess, I have officially given up on the great wall. There was just too much lag :(. Currently I'm playing on a pretty sweet private server, but raoroot or puddin's server are good ones as well.

Overall, I give it 4/10. It's got potential ;). If you want any more ideas or just want to ask/talk to me about minecraft, post on my blog. I'll try to get back to ya within the day.

I wonder the same thing. The last great upload in a while was the Compilation map, which (KEY PHRASE COMING UP DO NOT MISS THIS) took many days of effort. Some of the biggest things players look for in a map include practicality, amazing building skill, and a general sense of epicness. I'm not saying it should be taken down, but why not revise the save so it includes, maybe, a mysterious ruined temple, or an epic mine of doom. And, maybe, add a little storyline that ties the two together. Maybe there are thousands of zombies inside the mine that were once the temple's builders...until they found something....

Just a quick question, why is the map so large? Even Four Towers was only about 10mb...

Almost done with the great wall... let me know how else I can make the map better or just tell me about some super exotic temple or castle that won't take up the whole map (go golden pyramid guy) but still looks awesome. Btw the reason for so mush annoying posting from me is cause I need feedback so I can revise the save for its final release. From now on i will confine the ranting to my blog ;)

Hmm... Interesting. I might just burn down the inside and revise the save to make it more of a castle type. I don't exactly know what should go inside, but as I will also be adding a massive wall (almost done) feel free to post ideas. I'm also thinking of turning the surrounding forest into a town.

Yeah I do, too, as you can see ;) this is mainly for those who just want to have a decent 'jumping off' point in the game. I am working on an even better one that will be featuring a patriotic theme. Haven't decided yet on whether to make the twin towers or a battle scene. Right now I'm thinking to have it relate to June 6th, 1944.
