Thanks man! Yes yes there are going to be more haha!:p
Thanks man! Yes yes there are going to be more haha!:p
Thank you! Looking forward to hearing your opinions after you've played it!;)
Haha yes they were pretty much supposed to wear one!;)
Thanks, be patient:p
Hey, not sure, basic mod specs don't include any fatties:p
Well, we thought we had quite a comfortable rotation system and a lot of players complained about it! And we thought it was the best one among these that we tested! I'd say if you have anything on your mind that you think may improve the overall feel, give it a try!;) We enjoy seeing something happenning on the other end of the wire, too!
Thanks! We're still looking into improving them even further!;)
Definitely! DO IT!;)
We're going to cover a couple useful console commands to deal with mouse sensitivity issues and other stuff in a few days, stay tuned!
Thanks but to tell you the truth we have something way WAAAYYYYYYYYY more mindblowing than these coming soon! ;)
What you see here is just a pre-alpha teaser I'd say:p
There will be a couple of them for sure, I think it's an intrinsic part of every shooter, the only question is whether we'll implement that hitscan idea or make them the classic way. This decision will be highly dependant on the community feedback after such weapons have been tested though:p Thanks guys ;)
Howdy!
When I first found out about Frozen Synapse, which was a couple months ago after I've joined the moddb as a developer, you bought my interest immediately. I believe it was because of the original concept you have rather than anything else.
I think what the guys who said your PR was bad really meant is that they wanted to emphasis the fact that Frozen Synapse - as such a great title - should get way more publicity than it does and it was just out of pure courtesy, kind of a strong recommendation. I wouldn't take it too personally if I were you.
Since I started following the progress of your game, I have been immersed into studying your PR campaign very very thoroughly ever since. And I mean it. I've already read almost everything that you've posted on the PR issues so far and I just can't express my appreciation towards you for sharing all these insights with us! Extremely useful stuff. Keep it up!
Cheers from Poland!
Thanks for your comments! It's quite a relief to hear that most of the players find the controls relatively easy as that was our main concern.
@DG-Tal: Think of these controls as if they were for 3D game rather than a 2D one!;) By the way, you can further customize victor by redrawing his body parts, too!;)
That's right, I'd consider splitscreen as a fun mode only. I don't know exactly what settings of the camera we'll settle to in the end but with such limited field of view I don't think there will be any room left for competition.
Yes, we want to have the alpha out as soon as possible so we can get some feedback on the movement part, whether it's all too fast, too complicated, too annoying, too dizzy or just awesomely cool, and the video is here to basically make you kind of used to the idea and of course warp thirsty! ;)
