For all fans of Age of Empires & Age of Mythology!
I like disgusting stuff in general. I love satire and shit like that. I started working on HPL2 in 2011, finishing my adventure with it sometime in 2014. I was working on 5 mods totally, but none of them has seen a daylight. They all died a natural death, because each time I was making a mod, I quickly started getting fucking bored of it, so I abandoned a lot of stuff. If you want some old, scrap maps I made for various purposes, PM me, and they shall be yours. I don't give a shit 'bout them anymore. I have developed an interest to music during these few years, and I'm currently playing guitar. Oh, and also. I made some stuff for the creators of The Fugitive 3, so if you are interested in it, take a look. The whole project is really good shit so far. That's all ya need to know about me, if you want to ask me anything (I have no clue why would you ask me anything) hit me in the comments. Have a nice death, Lazy Lazzer aka. Yellow Fellow And I'm also sarcastic and cynical as fuk
Hey there, fuckers (jk), been bored so I decided to write my very first blog entry. I'll describe my top 10 favourite mods for Amnesia: The Dark Descent here.
Let's start off!
10. Dark Case
Solid shit, created by ☣Kaernk☣. The mod is set in modern times, you'll see a lot of Penumbra models and textures, but also some cool, custom made stuff. It has a nice story, fine, enjoyable and not frustrating puzzles and a bonus chests that are located on the whole game area. I was going to translate it, but I failed miserably. (sorry, waterlurker, don't kill meh plz)
9. Collapsing Cosmos: The Silver Key
Another good piece o' crap, features Lovecraftian atmosphere, which already makes it worth a shot. It features primo fuckin' mapping, and cool, immersive story. Definitely worth your time and attention.
8. Lifeless_The Abandon
This story has been created by a good friend 'o mine, Badcat5550. The mod features nice mapping and actually very spooky atmosphere, despite Amnesia doesn't usually scare me, that mod did. It also features HUGE creativity, the best example for that is the prison level, where you will be surprised by one dude (in a very negative meaning of the word "surprised"). Very solid mod, though the mod's plot leaves a lot to be desired. Exept the story, it's amazingly well done custom story.
Mod developed by jamistara, also known as AppleShoot3r. Doesn't feature a dozen of custom stuff, but it's best point is imho atmosphere, which is just perfect, spooky and immersive. You start in an old, creepy mansion, and you go through very various locations such as abandoned village, refugee camp, all the maps feature awesome detailing work, and the puzzles are cool, just how i like puzzles to be.
6. The Fugitive II
Developed by another buddy 'o mine, Neelke and his friend Matheez. The mod features amazingly well made puzzles, and a really solid dose of custom stuff (lava lakes, bathrooms in the castle, much 'o shit like that). Neelke is very talented scripter, so the scripts in that mod are great and sometimes very difficult
to understand how they work. The mod is also very spooky (contains two very cheap jumpscares, but it's only 2 right) and has a nice atmosphere, also features a lot of new sounds and music.
5. A Late Night Drink
Well, this mod is overally unique. It's not a typical, old school Amnesia story, but rather an interactive story about a dude that travels through a very strange universe. Highly enjoyable and reccomended, you will have to read a lot of text in this mod, but if you like reading like me, then this mod is a must.
4. A slave's masquerade
Disturbing story, beautiful maps, fucked up story again, repeat. It's just a pinnacle of the craziest shit you can put in Amnesia, paintings with writings like "Life sucks" or "Death is awesome" are making you seriously immerse yourself into the sick world that the mod creator, Glasgow_smile created. This mod has one
of the best maps I've ever fucking seen, man. Go and play this if you haven't yet. PS. It's kinda like "Justine" hardcore edition.
A full conversion created by ibanezGiO961, which contains AMAZING mapping, AMAZING lighting, AMAZING story, and AMAZING everything in fact. If you haven't played this, then it's a MUST. Do it. Now.
Made by DnALANGE, contains a lot of new stuff, awesome maps, cool puzzles, and unique ideas & atmosphere. You'll love that mod once you play it, I took like four attemtps before I actually finished the mod from beginning to the end. DnALANGE is a really nice guy, and modder, so give this mod a go!
1. Destiny Rebellion
Yup, this is my personal number I. The author of the mod is Umbakarna, very nice and helpful dude. Destiny Rebellion contains gargantuic ammount of new stuff, retextured walls, amazing interactivity, AMAZING creativity, you can also play as monster! This mod has also a very nice story. It's a completely diffrent mods from all the stories I described above, which makes it unique and simply outstanding.
Yay! So now you know my top 10 mods for Amnesia. I bet your life is diffrent now.
Thanks for reading, rock out
