Wigbold is right, there are two companions and both of them can be romanced by either a male character and a female character. We put a lot of effort into their storylines and (purely optional) personal missions, and I think they turned out quite well. :)

We will have full English voice acting, too! And so far it lacks nothing of the German voice over quality. :)

Well, there won't be an option integrated into the launcher, but with little modding knowledge, this could be done quite easily. Beautiful piece of music, by the way!

We do have a lot of backstory, but it isn't conveyed via murals. :)

There will be an announcement on that pretty soon. :)

Really glad you enjoyed it. And an interesting idea! Maybe we could sell a physical version of the book after Enderal is released, if there are enough people who'd be willing to buy it. :)

I have to correct you there: We were thinking about selling a CD/Special-Digital Download version of the soundtrack. But it will also be available for free.

We never planned to sell it, so no, it didn't. Motivation-wise, however, it did in some aspects, I think that's what Johannes (LordDagon) tried to say down in the comments. We just couldn't realize how "demanding" some people are, and how natural they think it is that people work their ***** off so they can play something for free.

And I actually will write a book after Enderal - I know how small the chances of finding a publisher are, but it doesn't hurt to try. :)

It should be said that we tried experimenting with ENB to provide a nicely configurated ENB preset for Enderal (we even got permission from Boris Vorontsov to do that), but no matter what we did, it simply always looked better without ENB, not to mention the performance drops in densely vegetated or populated areas. So we decided to go without it. :)

Some of it will be hard to "fix", though, f.e. the big inventory. Enderal will feature backpacks which should add a little more realism, but still - Making a roleplay game without any gaps of logic at all is pretty hard. We'll see!

There is a category called "Best Upcoming", which we're going for. We made the 4th place last year, and a high ranking will help us to get Voice Actors to join our cause like they did in Nehrim. :-)
