I've been a cog in the console development machine for a decade and am finally breaking out into making my own indie games. After making many prototypes I've made a game that I think people will like playing - Planetship. Hope you like it!

By default tutorials are turned on, they describe input and how to play when you start a new game. If you miss any of the tutorials there's a "restart tutorials" button to see them again. Let me know if the instructions in the tutorials could be improved :)

Hey Minerne, make sure the planet you want to act upon is highlighted before you use any of the hotkeys. Also you can left-click a planet to open the stats window if the text is hard to read. Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what I can do to improve it!

Hey Planetshippers thanks to your awesome feedback I've fixed a few bugs, rebalanced resources and made Easy and Normal difficulties much easier for people who enjoy tooling around in space in a more worry-free manner. Keep up the great communication and I'll keep improving the game :) Thanks!

Hey cross77 the update to Planetship was released last night, I think it addresses the problem you were having with the initial version. Try playing it on Easy first so it's less difficult to land miners or shuttles on faster planets. Thanks for playing and giving valuable feedback dude!

An easy way to tell how fast a planet is moving is to look at the length of it's tail, then hunt down the slower planets to get the resources you need. Also choosing the Easy difficulty will make the average planet orbit speed slower. I just checked in a version that makes Easy much easier in that regard and when Desura releases that build it shouldn't be so frustrating. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey Tandalus I'm a big fan of demos too, it's a nice way of getting a feel for what the game is all about without dropping full price and getting burned if it's not what you expected it to be. Hope you have fun with it :)

Thri-kreen! Haaha yes! You just inspired me to re-skin this as a spelljammer game.
