I installed it by the installer and then installed the patch i let it go to where it says only changing it from the sierra to my steam account (C:\PROGRAM FILES\VALVE\STEAMAPPS\(account name)\HALF-LIFE) and then i put the patch in the same directory and then it should work.
hey i recently saw you post on the point of view mod, so i'm assuming you got it to work. i have no clue how. i installed the steam patch and got to the main menu, but then when i tried to start a new game nothing happened. i opened up the console, then tried to start a new a new game, and it said the map wasn't on the server. how did you install it?
