The nebula code has been reimplemented into the game. This is one of the major features of the game and is used extensively within the scenes. It also includes multiple different shapes, allowing it to be fit within hallways, enclosed areas or out in space. It can even be used as clouds floating above a planet's surface. A screenshot is in the image list.
Also the explosion code is fully working. It uses animated sprites. With this method a complete animation is stored in a single texture. As with any standard animation, you can control the playback speed, loop count and more. These animations are also used for any other part of the game that requires an animated texture, for example the transporter FX.
