Correction: It's actually every other match, and it does seem to be a bug. I'm running the game on Windows 7, followed the Nvidia adjustment instructions, and tried it on every graphics quality setting. I tend to strike my match right to left, although it does the same thing left to right. I actually managed to play about 5 minutes through the game pretty effectively just by quickly killing my first match and darting for the second in the nick of time but I run out of matches quickly this way.

I seem to be having an issue with the matches. If I pull up the Inventory, the first match I use will always fail as soon as it touches the matchbox. The next match I always get to light no problem. I thought it was an issue with my technique, but after an hour of practicing, I'm starting to worry if I've hit a bug =[
