Is it vapourware already? I know it's a fan mod done in the devs free time, but I was so eager to play further chapters :( Wish I could help.

Just wondering, why this mod was built upon Xash3D engine instead of good ol' GoldSrc? Is it easier to create assets? Does it support modern level editors? Does this engine port remove hardcoded limitations of vanilla engine?

Thanks for the reply, but my CPU (Ryzen 5 1600 AF) doesn't have integrated GPU, so that solution doesn't apply for me. It's not due to the OpenGL API either, as like I said, all GoldSrc games run just fine at high framerates.

Great mod, very good recreation of the Alpha/Uplink Half-Life builds. Congratulations to the devs, can't wait to play further chapters :)

However, there are severe slowdowns in some parts for no apparent reason, like when you raise the platform with the Apache chopper on it, the framerate drops to 30fps. In other segments, game can't keep 60fps consistently. I have a Radeon card (RX 5500 XT), and while I'm aware OpenGL driver optimization by AMD is a joke, I still think it should run flawlessly on a modern card like this.

I don't see poor performance on GoldSrc games, which employ the same graphics API, maybe this Xash3D engine is terribly unoptimized for AMD cards?
