just played the game since the new update's holy **** the bush scared the **** out of me haha headphones up loud then the window smashed lol...
are you using an onboard graphics card? if so not much you can do about it.
Basement key is in the safe, you can find the unlock code in certain parts or different day's sometime's in the bathroom looking into the mirror, other time's near where you go up into the addict on the floor..
has happened to me once before, door only half opened and can't get through lol.
can't get the issue to re-produce i have had to reinstall net framework and ue3redist earlier though was having issues with them if that could of caused the error. hard to reproduce since, every time you play it change's in some way...
the event in the basement where as you just go down and turn left ... in the coding is that event 14 ?
1st play through i was just wondering around collecting things and reading the note's tried garage/bathroom/addict didn't get to try basement ran out of battery lol.
2nd play through that i checked the log i was side stepping around through the basement as i was no longer able to look around with mouse said something about player_0 already spawned and event 14...
will give a quick play through and repeat what i did to see if it happens again. post in 5-10
good you have some idea what you wanna do n where you wanna go with it...
had a few random issues with 1.0, 1st play through didn't manage to trigger any actual "death" scene i just ran out of battery.. 2nd play through got key, went to basement as i fell mouse wasn't able to be used to look around and could only face forward n move using WSAD... logs said there was a conflict with player_0 already spawned and issues loading the scene in the basement. it just crashed the game.. 80mb log.. gonna give it another play through soon to see if it happens again
any random idea's or plan's for the future with content? hopefully some dev studio see's what your capable of and hire's you, be interesting what you could do even if you had a whole team behind you, more resources.
massive change since beta 4... couldn't even compare the 2 at how much it has changed. worth getting the full game ..
black screen is a common bug with UDK game's for integrated graphic's card's and some low end ones. no real fix for it just some driver's older/newer can fix it very random issue.
have you got this sorted yet? i been away for 2 days so no idea where your at...
so far you installed it had the Unsetup.exe error which can be caused by numerous thing's...
then you uninstalled and couldn't reinstall it?
are you installing to C:\ Drive? (what drive is desura installed on)
and what windows are you on?
if external drive
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ (need to find location)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ (need to find location)
too tired currently will look for the complete address when i wake up in like 8-9 hrs if issue not resolved.
you do not have it installed on any other drive other then c;/ ? i had this error when i tried installing on an external drive with another game...
make sure all prereq files are also installed ;)
good in case you are missing something
Intel HD integrated ..
The 184.108.40.206.2696 (220.127.116.1196), and the 18.104.22.168.2622 (22.214.171.12422) can fix it for some people :)
for those with black screen error's what motherboard are you running/ integrated graphics card...
maybe a solution if you install driver's of an "added graphics card" with equal driver's
for example Geforce 7025 is 8400 SE it should fix the issue...
if people want to to post there MB and/or integrated card if they know it... i will try find the alternative ...
saying it "should" fix it not "will" i am fairly sure it will work
w= windowed :)
In game > options > resolution
or go into
change CurrentRes=1920X1080) to whatever you want :)
tried re-installing/installing UE3REDIST.exe in paranormal\Binaries\Redist folder?
dotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe in the paranormal\Binaries\InstallData
if your with Desura will be in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
also make sure your graphics driver's are up to date :)
latest version : 306.23
go to unsetup.exe
right click, compatibility window,
at bottom under privilege, tick run as administrator
then go paranormal\Binaries\Win32
and run UDK.exe or do that same thing for unsetup.exe then run
other then that ask your parents... lol
oh you can always get a compatibility toolkit and Adding the "RunAsInvoker" flag to the executable should fix it ... other then that i am out of idea's :P
only work-around i found for game's that require admin rights mainly steam is to run steam by right clicking "run as administrator"... or give other users admin ..
there is a solution but it can make the game go buggy if you do something that requires admin rights but that involves modifying the .exe/manifest lol which i dont think matt would like...
other option get a boot cd - remove password from admin lol
sigh fail again lol they should let me delete comments
use the latest one's
install both if your on 64bit but, can try after each installation may only need 1 :)
gave you the older ones ^_^ oops
btw if your on 64 bit INSTALL BOTH!
probably should of mentioned that :P
so install the 32bit 2010 version if your on 64 bit
before trying those other packs
your prob missing the earlier packs then...
