Not dead anymore... just personal life issues taking completely control.
As for balance, I am trying to not overpowering them, but adding a bunch of new units with new stuff makes it prone to that. However, I am redoing many of the gameplay aspects so that I can hopefully achieve better balance.
I am also going to talk to one of the other mod teams doing a similar mod for a different race about this subject, so that we might be able to get them balanced to each other and hopefully even get them as one mod (although with two different teams working on the different races).
