you can't buy it new so good luck finding a second hand copy of this with a CD-key that still works. Also these mod creators are no better than a "LAZY PIRATE" for ripping files from GoW2/GoW3 and porting them to this which is ILLEGAL. I would happily pay for a working CD-key and connect to live but Microsoft refuse to sell them so until then i'm playing these mods perfectly fine with friends through LAN.
