The SSHIP 098 version is indeed much more stable. Download here:

Nice work ! The mixed aspect within the units looks good.

It is possible to directly use the data XIII folder, but that will not make the campaign start any differently. Some of the units will just have a visual aspect closer to the 13th century.
The AI is chosen from the SSHIP_098 folder by opening the "Campaign_AI_switcher.bat" file and following the instructions.
This concerns the 098 beta version which you can download with the link above "Mega.nz"

Mega.nz

Use the link above for the latest version of KCC.
This version contains SS + SSHIP + KCC

You must unzip my file in a folder named SSHIP_098

This folder should be placed directly in the "mods" folder of the game.

To launch the game, use the SSHIP 098 launcher.bat or create a desktop shortcut.

I think your Winrar is not up to date. The file downloads and unzips without problem at home (I just did the test).
My current version of Winrar is 6.0.0.0
I think winzip also works ;)

Awesome job!
I myself am working on improving the units for SSHIP (https://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?2055-Stainless-Steel-Historical-Improvement-Project-(SSHIP)) and I don't have much material for the northeast factions ... maybe you can see if SSHIP motivates you?
Creating a complete mod on your own is way too time consuming, but grafting onto a fairly complete historical mod that you can already play with is perhaps easier and rewarding?

After installing SSHIP 0.9.7 + patch F + KCC 0.9.5, you can replace the battle_models.modeldb file with the one corrected by Gigantus
Here : Drive.google.com

Maybe this operation can avoid some CTDs ?

Are you using patch E or patch F?
I am now playing and working on the version with the F patch but I have not redone the whole installation from the beginning ...
do other players have CTD when they add KCC 0.9.5?

Translation of my previous message:
The rebels sometimes defeat me.
Maybe because I play VH / VH ?
For example, in a campaign with Norway, a troop hidden near Kalmar surprised my little army. My general narrowly escaped death thanks to the flight, I had to change my strategy, because the enemy army disappeared when I brought reinforcements ... to reappear further north and besiege Skara!

Otherwise it's been 2 days that the TWCenter site has stopped responding to me :\

I don't know which unit you are talking about. I did not touch the units of the Moors.
It is best if you post your problem with an image on TWCenter

PhongNgo : It is quite possible to play your entire campaign with the basic data folder (12th century) without overwriting the latter with the data from data XIII.

In this case, you will not have some modifications more adapted to the evolution of the costume, such as, for example, the covers of the horses of the general's bodyguard, the replacement of the officers and flag holders ...

There is now an E patch which fixes most CTDs (I tested it myself)
Until it's published on this site, you can find it here:

The best balance is hard to find. There were recognized imbalances, such as the general's bodyguards that were too powerful for example ... The current version should be more realistic than the old one but this subject remains debatable.

If you want to make your own changes, everything is played with the export_descr_units file.

What turn did you have the crash on? What does the system.log.txt say?

At this time, the unit lists for each faction are not completely stable. We will probably work on these lists later, but it's a big job.

You can ask more questions on the dedicated forum: Twcenter.net(SSHIP)

I will talk about this with the designers of SSHIP. Indeed, a swordsman unit for some Muslim factions would be useful.

The problem is that the Janissaries are a relatively late unit (appearance around the middle of the 14th century) and that I intend to devote myself in priority to the units of the 12th and 13th century ...
Either way, you'll have to be patient because I take care of this mod in my spare time and I don't have a lot of it at the moment.

Absolutely! It is essential to install SSHIP0.9.6 before installing KCC0.9.4 (v2)!
1- Have a clean version of SS6.4
2- Install SSHIP 0.9.6
3- Unzip my .rar file (KCC 0.9.4 (v2) .rar) in a neutral folder.
4- Copy the "data" and "mods" folders to the game's root folder (Medieval II Total War by default)
5- accept the replacement of files
6- Launch the game with the SS6.4 shortcut on the desktop or from Medieval II Total War / mods / SS6.3 / SS_Launcher

There are a few small visual changes if you play Serbs, but this faction hasn't been reworked particularly.

I have no news for the possibility of a late operational campaign.

Yes. SSHIP 0.9.6 files and some ui files from data vanilla are replaced. This will not change anything in the vanilla game or in the other mods you have installed.
It is also possible to install this new version on top of my previous version KCC 0.9.4 (v1).

On this site I post my moderator work for M2TW: Kingdoms, mainly on modifying visible units on the battlefield.
My first test was done from mod PRO DEO E REGE became KPS (kostic pack skins)
My current project is from the sub-mod of Stainless Steel 6.4, SSHIP Lifth. It's called KCC (kostic chronology costumes)
