hmmm...i dont think you should get so hot under the collar meph, i dont think this is much competition. its great this tries to have an original storyline and all, but its a bit...easy. i mean, its like saying in the next C&C game NOD find Yuri in his little prison, kept alive by his want for revenge and his phycic powers, after the instillation was forgotten by GDI during all the fighting with NOD. NOD then develop Cyborg Telekinetic Mutants!!! how easy is it to cut and paste storylines then???
sorry if anyone on the team IS actually inoccent of knowing of unscrupulous deeds, but you could try a more different storyline so as not to conflict with TA at all? like if the Chrono insident caused NOD to disband, and GDI got laxer, and a new faction emerged or something...
