I learned writing installers in NSIS in 2020. Some of the old games required changes in their config files in order to run them on today's computers. A casual player does not have time to find solutions how to fix a problem. He just run one of the installers which makes all things for him. Installers, Updaters, Uninstallers. Adding new registry values, adding entries to "add or remove programs", changing information in XML files, etc. Games fixed/modded: 1) The Settlers II - 10th Anniversary (+AddOn) 2) The Settlers - Rise of Cultures 3) Risen
