Always good to see new weapons eh? Excellent work.

Right, well. In any case, I'm a modeller with experience in 3dsm. I've also done some mapping in bf1942. I haven't quite figured skinning out though. You can see samples on my moddb profile. I also have an interest in the time period and subject matter. I've been fairly busy lately with school but I may be able to do some work for you guys if you need it.
I imagine you must already be aware of the Battlefield Korea mod (although I have no idea why it's being made by a German mod team).
(Also, there is one thing particularly wrong with this picture: Sherman turrets have turret ring/cages attached to them, so the one in the background wouldn't look like that :) I might even get bored and put that on.)
There is no feeling of pride greater than seeing one's BTR-152 ingame.
The father of mod team co-founder Stalin has passed away, he was a good man, served our country, and was the leader of the massive multi-game 9th Special Forces clan.
We take time to remember this brave and talented individual.
pseudo update 9/20/05...
modddddddd
worrrrrrrrrkkkk
issssss
slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
We're hoping for it not to come out too much like DoD. Some of the weapon balances are similiar, ie Garand vs Nagant is a lot like Garand vs Kar 98, but hopefully the map design and atmosphere will set us apart. Our goal in coding for multiplayer is to get away from the HL-1 style "capture flags in a row on a relatively linear map" style combat (though we may not end up with as many vehicles as we'd like).
Heheh, yeah. We may just resort to getting a new host.
Thanks for the encouragement.
Forgot to note in the caption that these are M4A3E8 Shermans, the earliest (and lightest) US tank available in the mod.
As some of the more astute of you may have noticed, the link to our site works, but the site hasn't been updated in a bejeesusly long time. This is not intentional, I assure you. Something is not behaving correctly with our news client. Furthermore, our forums cannot be accessed at all... It's an ordeal, really. The team just can't seem to get this one to budge.
Oh well. We'll take another swing at it in the near future I'm sure.
I feel possessed to answer this :)
In order for most mods to work, you should have the game the mod is intended for patched to the latest version. Otherwise, that should be all you need to play! (though mods may vary).
Also, applications like All Seeing Eye are very useful for finding mod servers, which can be scarce at times.
I'd guess the reason many mods don't update often probably has to do with the fact that modders work for free in their spare time, and are often sidelined by other business. I myself have been offline for a long while attending to some personal matters, leaving mods I've volunteered to model for (including this one) that much more shorthanded.
We're in the process of putting up a new site. We already have our own domain, but we're holding the address until the site is ready. Thanks for the input.
(A comment! I think I'm going to have a heart attack :) )

35 years old, eh? Tell me about the Ford administration why doncha.
Hah!
Work is resuming, we're dusting off the old HL tools and looking into new ones.
We're going to generally play around until we find a direction. Single player has been discussed, though we're looking into the viability of it.
Basically we feel that there's little we can do multiplayer that hasn't been done already, unless we think of something great.
Anyway any sort of estimates will have to be put off until we see what we can do and plan.
Whoa, a new ModDB format.
Truly they work very hard.
