I'm into Open Source software and gaming on Linux platforms. Sadly this does leave me rather limited in choice if I'm being honest. I like RTS and point and click adventure games as well as going through the games of yester-year. My particular areas of ineterst in the retro scene are: SNES, Arcade (via MAME) and even like to take a trip to my very first gaming experience with the Atari 2600. I dislike a lot of FPS as I find them boring and repetitive, sadly there are loads of these games for the Linux platform. My current game that I like to play is Minecraft, but I try and limit my time on this as I know I could happily waste away many hours on it. I also do two podcasts in my spare time:TuxJam and Crivins. Both include a mixture of Creative Commons music and Open Source talk, you can check them out at unseenstudio.co.uk I'm on identi.ca and joindiaspora.com (@kevie on both), if you want a yarn on Jabber then send me a message on either of these networks.

Is this game available for Linux or not??? It lists Linux under platforms in the description, but when I try to purchase it all I get are the options to buy the Mac or Windows version :(

Great game, it is horribly addictive and has a steep learning curve. One of these games that will have you throwing the keyboard at your monitor and smashing your fist against the wall......only for you to be returning to it 15 mins later. Just make sure that you don't delete your cookies and offline data, this will wipe your game; I discovered this the hard way. For Linux users I recommend playing it through Desura as I found a lot of bugs when launching the application by itself (crashes and failure to save games). If this is the first game from LeGrudge & Rugged then please please please keep them coming :) A bargain at £5.99, I felt like I'd cheated the company so I went to their own website and bought the special edition pack.
