I have now made a new header for my profile, but I wondering what you think about it. If you like the new one or the old one?
I like your new design it has far much order in it, though even the old one has it's charms.

Are you going to ditch the headers, why?
because they are awkward for people to add. We'd prefer profiles to get straight to the good details
After my opinion about header, so are they great. Very many people like that it should look good on their profile. And headers image helps to make it look good. So clearly there are many who upload many weird images and not the correct size.
But it is just the way it is, people like that there are many options one can use on their profile and other things. If you take away that, it will look smaller on their profiles. More text and less images is like reading a book. It's like people say "A picture says more than 1000 words" I also help people today with making header that they can use, so it looks good on their profile.
Well this is just my opinion, but I really hope you do not take away the headers.
That is true I guess we will look into an easier way for people to customize their profile without the need for a header image field

You are right new is best
I do like your old character design more. It actually kinda looks like you if you were in an Anime and it's hard to picture you any other way. It definitely looks like you're someone with much experience, and you are. Whereas your new design, while it still looks good, just doesn't convey who you are as well I think.
That said, the new banner design is better for the reasons already mentioned. Much cleaner, easier to digest, very concise.
