None of us has experienced this problem.Multiplayer games should work smoothly on both platforms,(PC version has already been verified),but I'm not sure about the Mac one,since I only tested singleplayer games on Mac.

I recommend you to reinstall the whole game.Uninstalling the Mac version of AoE3 can be done by removing the game applications from applications folder in system volume,while the HCs in your documents folder will still be kept.

The problem might occur if the application has no permission to the game folder.If you have no idea what this is,I suggest you to reinstall the whole AoE3 again,with AoE3 itself and expansions all up to date.Finally,you should try to run the mod installer as you did before.
