Ken joined
Ken pursued his musical studies at the University of North Texas culminating in being named a member of the world-renowned One O'Clock Lab Band in 2002. Ken was subsequently selected as the trumpet player to perform for and along with the King of Thailand in a 10-day tour the One O'Clock Lab Band took, ending with a private concert next to his Majesty the King (2004).
After finishing his music degree in 2005, Ken then accepted a position as lead trumpet with the Dallas band "Emerald City", a high-profile corporate event and party band that averages over 250 dates a year. While with Emerald City, he has traveled the globe performing for high end galas,functions and parties from Dublin, Ireland, to the Bahamas, to engagements for President George W. Bush.
In 2006, Ken founded "Brass Connection"(www.myspace.com/brassconnection), a 3 piece top-call horn section based out of Dallas,TX that specializes in horn arranging, clinics, and live performances. They have performed in conjunction
