I'm still a student of engineering and informatics, making music and modding in my spare time, that's it. I started with a map for Q3A in 2000 but it never reached release stage. I joined a Starship Troopers mod in 2001, called Bug-Zone and made four nice themed maps, but after internal alfa stage it sadly never reached beta stage. The mod died quietly after 2 years of development. In 2005 I joind the PadWorld Entertainment team, mapping for World of Padman. There I managed to finish my first official released map "Kai's TrashMap", representing an athmospheric backyard somewhere in Berlin. At the moment my second map for WoP reaches beta stage "Kai's FridgeWars" and will be included in the next official WoP release. We will see, maybe there will be a third map made by me. Additinal I try to write down some tutorials for all the mappers out there, trying to make a map for World of Padman.
In this tutorial I would like to show you how to insert, modify and export pre-modelled and skinned map-objects (MD3 and ASE) in GtkRadiant.
In this tutorial I would like to show you how to install and configure GtkRadiant 1.4 to make it compatible with World of Padman standalone game.
In this tutorial I would like to show you how to install and configure GtkRadiant 1.5 to make it compatible with World of Padman standalone game.
World of Padman provides an internal music player! In this tutorial I would like to show you how you can add your own songs as a music pack.
