Info: For anyone with the 1.1 patch, i believe i have discovered a fix in terms of de-patching your game to version 1.0.

This website provides no CD/DVD patches, which basically mean you can play the game without the disc in your dvd drive. The site contains links to different no CD/DVD patches, and each one is for different versions. As there is one for version 1.0, you simply download it and copy, paste and replace the original .exe for SWTFU2. The link I used is the 3rd one down "v1.0 (MULTI5) no DVD/fixed EXE".
Now it will be patched at 1.0 and just install Kuku's mod like stated above and that should be it. You can launch game without disc too.
Evidently I have the retail version which was already patched at 1.1, though this should hopefully work with Steam version as well.
This mod is great and I now have no problem playing it at all.
Thanks to Kuku for this great mod, and i hope this will allow the mod to work for current 1.1 version users.
