I followed the instructions to the letter for the installer and when I click on the XWINGALLIANCE file my cursor makes that circle like it's loading, then after a second it goes away and nothing happens. Any advice?

I followed the instructions to the letter, however when I click on the XWINGALLIANCE.exe file it does nothing. I don't get an error message or anything. Nothing at all happens. The cursor does that circle thing for a split second like it's loading something, but then nothing happens. Anyone have any advice?

I can't get this patch to work. It gives me an error message saying, "Directory is invalid! The target files could not be created."
