Also realize that these people are working for no money as the game will be free to play and that they all have actual lives and jobs. All things considered, 4-5 years is a rather short time that it's taken. All the work they've done is simply amazing. And advertising is a huge part of the game. As we saw with games like UT 3, if there is not enough of a player base prior to release, it becomes increasingly more difficult for a game to survive. This is especially vital for a game that is only multiplayer. That's why they've been periodically doing these features. NT needs your support, bitches.

Apparently the PS3 will be able to use mods as well for its version of UT3. Are you guys considering doing anything specifically for the ps3?

It is very much alive. If you visited the IRC channel you would know that. I can tell you that they are working on the game all the time and they are constantly updating every aspect of the game.
