I think it would be great to see a mod dedicated to WWII. No radar - only line of sight. No modern planes or tanks, just what was avail during the war. Spy planes would take off from the airfields to a designated area to take a picture of the battlefield - which would be visible in the radar screen only if the plane made it back without being shot down. As in Red Alert, the "Radar Screen" showing the battlefield could be zoomed in to check details of the picture taken. This would add more realism to the game's desire to be an actual WWII mod.

This sounds like a great mod! I'm fairly new to the modding scene. I am privy to the WWII mods, myself.

If anyone is still having a problem adding mods from MODDB that are not set for Launchbase, do the following: Go to RA2/Launchbase/Mods directory
create a folder name for the mod. Place two folders in the Mod Name directory, 1) Launcher 2)Video. Copy all of your files from the *Zip or *rar directory into the VIDEO folder. You will then need to place create a file called "liblist.gam" (You can copy this from one of the MODS in the directory if you like, just be sure to change the following information:

Name= * Name of the MOD*
Author=
Version=
Date=
Description= * Either copy summary from text file or create your own.
Campaigns=
Website=
ModType=mod
ModScrnFormat=SCRNd.pcx
ModSnapFormat=Mapd.yrm

You will have to restart Launchbase in order for the MODS to show up.

This is a really great MOD! Kudos to the team that designed this! There are 21 different factions. I love the fact that there are STAR WARS factions in the game! Each faction has different weapons. The language is all in GERMAN, but it is easy to play the game and a little fun to have the vehicles and soldiers respond to clicks and commands in German! I can't wait to see the update to this already great MOD! As far as any ideas for the new update, try to imagine a Battlestar Galactica faction. Or perhaps an update to bring the USA into the future with BUCK ROGERS in the 25th Century factions.

I'll be watching and waiting impatiently for new updates!
