Also, if you get an error with the following message in it, you need to install the Swat 4 v1.1 patch for the original game:

ERROR: GameEngine, native class size (504) does not match scripted class size (512)

@ CR!M!NAL, yes you will be able to play normal swat 4 after this mod is installed. It does not overwrite any original files if properly installed.

@ Elite.Spectre, 11-99 should be installed into its own folder located inside the Sierra folder (the Swat 4 folder is installed in this Sierra folder). After the files are there, all that is needed is for you to run the "Launch 11-99 Enhancement Mod" batch file (which tells swat 4 where to find the modded files so as to keep all swat 4 files original so you can switch between 11-99 and original swat 4).

That error probably means that you do not have the Swat 4 version 1.1 patch installed... Sorry it has taken so long for me to post this; I haven't checked this page in years it seems.

I recently became aware that the bug where players in a multiplayer game spawn without weapons has reappeared in version 1.3 of 11-99. I have started a thread at Hot-Swat-Mods that discusses whether I should just create a patch or whether I should make another release that includes more changes. As for the pepper spray, sorry I did not include that change in the readme. I removed it for multiplayer games because I was hearing that it was being abused in multiplayer games and without any feedback from mod users I could not determine a proper middle-ground that would stop players from abusing the pepper spray while keeping it in multiplayer games.

When I fixed the bugs in version 1.2, some of the changes I made accidentaly went back to their defaults. All of these should be fixed in version 1.3

I never got a confirmation e-mail too, but I can login with my username and password. I suggest you try it if you haven't already.

You should be able to run the mod like everyone else; I haven't heard of any problems with the DL'ed version running mods... So, you should be able to install 11-99 into your Swat 4 directory and have 11-99 work properly. If not, let me know and I'll find out exactly what you need to do to get it to work.

I'm just waiting for Take-Down (the official unofficial Swat 4 expansion pack) to be released so I can determine if I'm going to create an 11-99 Mod for it.

Don't forget, my offer to use my hi-res swat skins from 11-99 still stands... I really can't wait for Take-Down to be released.

Feel free to do so. I'm still debating whether or not it would be worth it for me to rebuild this mod from scratch since that is the only way I can fix a problem with non-dedicated servers. Its nice to hear that people are still interested in this mod; just might help me make up my mind.

It stands for "officer needs help" in most police codes. It could mean other stuff because police agencies all use different codes (right now, that is), but we meant it to stand for "officer needs help".

You might want to check out the Take-Down mod for Swat 4 then too. It's not out yet, but I know it will beat any Swat 4 mod ever created, including this one (but hey, I am helping with it so I'm not resentfull or anything :)).

Nice to see you guys added Take Down here, it was getting lonely with so few Swat 4 mods. Just know that my offer for using my custom weapon skins and my high-detailed uniforms is still there is you would like to use them. Oh, and I sent Vengful the latest GUI pics.
