it could just be a simple trigger u have missed. Have you looked at the crypt and the tombstone in the old part of the cemetery? did u show the music box to the old man in the park? later u meet him in the cemetery too. Cant think of anything else right now

I just had a mysterious phone call in my house from someone who has information about my dad's death. He says to look at the note through the light or something. The only note I have is the letter that says to go and ask Ramsey. Surely thats not what he means? Any ideas?

Ouch, well I'm guessing it may be a bug. Do u have a save game from before you spoke to charlie? I cant really think what else it maybe. You must have got everything from the safe, and from charlie's house and u need to show charlie the calmwood artbook and the newspaper clipping and everytime he tells u something you should ask him to explain more. With everything he said, I always argued with him about it - that way you get to show him more evidence and get him to tell the truth. some things you have to present to him and others you have to examine in the inventory when talking to him. Thats what I did, and after there was nothing else to say and Charlie went home - I went to the museum and william was standing outside. Thats how you know you're progressing

where exactly is william when u talk to him? To get the option of selling it to him, he should be standing outside the museum. Have u spoken to him there yet?

I just played a little while and I noticed something strange. I already sold the music box and I dont have it in my inventory anymore, but I do have the 5 grand william gave me. But, when I go back to the museum and talk to him again, I have the same conversation where I ask him if he wants to buy it and he says no, its a fake. So I would check your inventory if were you. If I recall, its not really obvious when you sell it - there's no animation that shows you handing iot over. So maybe u did sell it but just didnt realise. Have you tried going home again? If u sold the box, then there shoould be developments at your house. Thats the only way to know for sure

I dont understand then. I assume you got the final music box piece from charlie's attic right? But if charlie has gone home then u should have all the information u need to sell the box to william. I cant think of what else u need to do - sorry. All i can suggest is try talking to him and talk about everything u can. There should be a part where u ask him if he wants to buy it and he says something like "i'll give you whatever you want for it" and you say "ok, 5 grand". Then he says "you know i'm going to destroy it right?"

by now u should have the proof you need from what charlie told you. I cant remember exactly what i said to him but explore every conversation option even if it means backing out of the conversation and talking to him again

He should be, if u got all the info from charlie. You can sell him the box for 5 grand. did u tslk to Charlie about how he hated Ramsey? Did u get him to admit that he recognised the music box? With this info you can go back to William and tell him about the box - then he will buy it

go and see william - he maybe interested in buying something from u now........

Is charlie the old man at the park? If so, thats where i'm stuck - got the spear also but now no ideas...

Finally did it - use the last 2 numbers from each painting!! How did I miss that?
Anyway - now I'm stuck again. Got the book and newspaper clipping from the safe, spoke to the museum guy and spoke to the old man at the play area, then went to the cemetery, looked at the Ramsey crypt and the stone with the gibberish markings. Now what??? This game is really vague about letting u know what u need to do next

Hi, can anyone tell me the correct combination for the safe in the museum? I thought it was related to the paintings, but Ive tried every combination I can think of going left,rightleft nad vice versa. Can anyone help me out, pleeease?
