On a side note, we find this video pretty cringeworthy! But someone took the trouble to make it, so we thought we'd post it up here for posterity.

I went for 'fortune', but more accurately I make indie games in the hope of making enough money to live comfortably doing something creative. But a fortune would still be most welcome!
Congratulations to the two winners - you certainly deserve it. Amazing work!
It's an interesting idea that we hadn't really considered, but since we will actually be showing the characters from all angles it's not applicable in this case. Check out this article to see what I mean:
Haha! Yes! I mean, ARRRRRRRR!!! Pirates are amazing. As is your artwork. Please tell me I will be able to customize my own pirate character!
Nice. I've always been interested in using growing things as a game mechanic. Hope you're planning to develop this further.
Amazing! Much more cinematic than I was expecting! Can't wait to see more of this!
Wow, you're art aesthetic is very nice - high level of polish too. I'm jealous!
Yep, as other have said it really is an honour, not to mention a very pleasant confidence boost! Everyone get your spiked clubs out for the final round battle! GRAAAAR!

I spend way more time in the office with my PC than I do at home with my consoles, so it's PC for me.
And I fear telephone technology, so definitely no mobile!
I spend so much time making a game, I have no time to play them any more. Sad but true. And probably unsustainable - how am I supposed to make games if I've forgotten what they are?!
I think as long as there's a clear separation of purpose between Indie DB and Mod DB, it will work well.
I strongly believe that both sites need separate forums - there seems to be far too much noise being made by modders chattering about frivolous tweaks to existing IP. (I'm not suggesting ALL modders are like this of course, just that this kind seems to be flooding many areas of the forums.)
It slightly puts me off trying to engage in thoughtful dialogue or debate about the more meaningful aspects of development.

Hello! My name is Jamie Evans, and I'm the Development Director at Paper Giant Studios. We've all got very exciting titles that don't necessarily mean very much! Mainly what I actually do is design how our games will work, build 3D models and digitally paint things. I also keep our website and Facebook page up to date and tweet for the studio on Twitter.
