My Poem:
Helen -

It was her eyes; the glitter in her eyes; the light and glow from an inflamed city,
It was her throbbing, soft neck; the formation of a hundred men,
It was her lips; pursed with blood and soul-stained,
It was her golden hair; thunderous waves, a thousand ships are sailed,
It was her milky, smooth skin; enrapture; encaged men slain,
It was her heart; the pounding of battering rams and muscles against hardened stone,
It was her tender fingers; the strings strung by bowmen,
It was her young, delicate palms; cracked shields laid, fragile,
It was her innocence; lost,
It was her mouth; like the voice of a million rippling whispers, echoed,
"I am become Death, Shatterer of Worlds"

Lestat: Evil is a point of view. God kills indiscriminately and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves. - Interview with the Vampire

Lestat: I'm going to give you the choice I never had. - Interview with the Vampire

"He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all." Edgar Allen Poe, 'Masque of the Red Death'

"...don't talk to me of pacts.
There are no binding oaths between men and lions -
Wolves and lambs can enjoy no meeting of the minds -
They are all bent on hating each other to the death.
So with you and me. No love between us. No truce
Till one or the other falls and gluts with blood
Ares who hacks at men behind his rawhide shield." - Achilles to Hector, the Iliad.

"And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder. One of the four beasts saying, 'Come and see.' and I saw, and behold a white horse"...
""And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked, and behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death, and hell followed with him." - Parts of a Johnny Cash song.

"Allow me to impress upon you the severe mistake you have made, for years my conduct has been largely benign and yet without provocation you have severed our détente and forced me to unleash upon you the vengeful flame of a thousand suns. You shall curse your mothers for the day of your birth. So go now... gooo and begin your life of fear, knowing, that when you least expect it, the looming sword of Damocles will crush down upon you cleaving you in twain and as you gaze upon the smoking wreckage that was once your life, you will regret the day you crossed the wrong fish." - Klaus, 'Surro-Gate' episode of American Dad.
