Hello if anyone is struggling to play as the CIS in instant action/skirmish mode, please follow the steps outlined below:
1) Move your cursor to the faction selection drop down menu.
2) Left click to expand the table.
3) Left click again upon any faction but do not release. At the same time use the down arrow key to force the menu to scroll.
4) The Separatist option should appear and you may click on it for selection.
